Alibi Machine Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Alibi Machine (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Alibi Machine is developed and published by GiveMeMood, registered in the Republic of Moldova. For more information about the App, visit our page at Get My Alibi — Alibi Machine for Android.

1. About the App

Alibi Machine is a humor and entertainment application that generates absurdly detailed, fictitious alibi documents styled as official papers. The App is intended solely for comedic, creative, and entertainment purposes.

Alibi Machine is not intended to:

  • Assist in any illegal activity or actual deception of law enforcement, courts, or other authorities;
  • Create documents intended to be passed off as genuine official records;
  • Replace legal advice or professional counsel of any kind.

Any resemblance to real events, persons, or institutions in the generated content is entirely coincidental and satirical. Use of the App for unlawful purposes is strictly prohibited and solely the responsibility of the user.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Alibi Machine. The App contains adult-oriented humor about deception and fictitious documents and is not appropriate for minors. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

3. Free Version

Alibi Machine is available free of charge with the following features included at no cost:

  • 9 document styles;
  • 8 signature styles;
  • Official stamp with GiveMeMood branding;
  • Support for 76 languages;
  • PNG and PDF export;
  • Advertising banners and interstitial ads served by Google AdMob.

4. Premium Subscription

Alibi Machine offers an optional monthly subscription ("Premium") at $1.99 per month (or local equivalent), which unlocks the following additional features:

  • Removal of all advertisements (banners and interstitials);
  • Official stamp without GiveMeMood branding;
  • 10 unique funny stamp styles (Premium-exclusive);
  • 17 exclusive signature styles (25 styles total when combined with the 8 free styles);
  • 10 premium document styles (19 document styles total when combined with the 9 free styles).

Premium features are available exclusively to active subscribers. The feature set may be extended in future updates for Android. When an iOS version of the App becomes available, Premium benefits will be described on our Alibi Machine app page.

5. 7-Day Free Trial

Alibi Machine offers a 7-day free trial of the Premium subscription for eligible new subscribers (users who have never previously subscribed to Alibi Machine Premium). During the trial period:

  • You will have full access to all Premium features at no charge;
  • No payment will be taken for the first 7 days;
  • You may cancel anytime during the trial period through Google Play to avoid being charged.

Important: If you do not cancel before the end of the 7-day free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid Premium subscription at $1.99 per month, and your payment method on file with Google Play will be charged. Free trial eligibility is determined by Google Play and may not be available in all regions or to all users.

6. Payment, Billing, and Auto-Renewal

All payments for the Premium subscription (and free trial conversion) are processed exclusively through Google Play Billing. GiveMeMood does not collect, store, or have access to your payment information. Billing is governed by Google Play's Terms of Service.

The Premium subscription auto-renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period (or before the end of the 7-day free trial). You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the published Premium price.

If a payment fails (for example, due to insufficient funds or expired payment method), Google Play applies a 3-day grace period during which Premium features remain available while payment is retried. After the grace period, Premium features are revoked and the subscription enters Account Hold for up to 30 days, during which you may restore the subscription by updating your payment method.

7. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time through Google Play:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device;
  2. Tap your profile icon (top-right) → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions;
  3. Select Alibi Machine Premium;
  4. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (or end of the free trial, if you cancel during the trial). Premium features remain available until that date. No partial refunds are issued for unused subscription time.

All content you have generated and saved on your device remains accessible after cancellation.

8. Refund Policy

All Premium subscription purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or as offered by Google Play's standard refund policies. Refund requests should be directed to Google Play:

  • Open the Google Play Store → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history;
  • Select the order and request a refund within the eligible window (typically 48 hours of purchase for subscriptions).

For refund inquiries beyond Google Play's standard window, contact Google Play support directly. GiveMeMood does not process refunds.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Alibi Machine only for lawful, personal, and entertainment purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use generated documents to deceive, defraud, or mislead any person, institution, or authority;
  • Present generated content as genuine legal or official documentation;
  • Use the App in any manner that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the App.

GiveMeMood reserves the right to update this App and these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and materials within Alibi Machine — including but not limited to document templates, stamp designs, and signature styles — are the intellectual property of GiveMeMood and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any text you personally input into the App. Generated documents are provided for personal entertainment use only. You may not redistribute or sell generated content for commercial purposes.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Alibi Machine is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. GiveMeMood does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GiveMeMood shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including damages resulting from the use of generated content in any real-world context. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it and cancel any active subscription.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Moldova, where GiveMeMood is registered. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

GiveMeMood reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
